I was going to update the Bird/fish kill story today but I started thinking about it and decided instead to post some videos from George Carlin.

    The ironic thing is, the politians who do everything they can to keep the corporations in power are voted in by the people who they bend over a table. And it's because people vote by non-issues. They'll vote for a candidate because their party stands for "good ol' fashion values" or "change", but not looking at what thier candidate actually stands for themselves. (I'm not sure how different the American system is, but I'm coming from the Australian system here.)

    @Les: It's pretty much the same way here. Rarely does a voter actually research the candidates for themselves.

    Great vids and can't wait to hear more about the birds and fish story (it made me mad)
